Kimberly, I can somewhat relate to you about finding it hard to study in the same place. I have a daughter who is almost finished with elementary school and while she studies, I try to. Whether it’s in the kitchen, the den, or even in my room, somehow she always tries to want to talk while we study together. Even if I’m in the den and she’s done with her schoolwork. I have designed a time frame for each of us to do homework and no TV until we are finished every week. I figured even if she doesn’t have homework, she can devote her time to reading. It’s especially good in the summertime when she is out of school
