It is important to adhere to the scope of my role as a physiotherapist assistant because it sets out boundaries and enables me to know my specific roles and responsibilities. Also makes me aware of my own level of competences and skills. According to my contract my duties and my role includes: talking to patients and preparing them for therapy, setting up equipment such as rollater frame, arjo stand, walking stick, and gym, keeping records of patients progress, providing reports to physiotherapy, showing patients how to use mobility aids, checking and maintaining equipment, helping patient to mobilising with aids and unaided, and do general administration and keeping the department tidy.
