I. Introduction
“Ballot papers do not define leaders. Leadership is defined by conviction, vision, passion and inspiration.” First of all, what is a leader? If we’re going to base our definition to a dictionary, a leader is the one who rules, guides or inspires others. But for us, a true leader does not create followers, they create more leaders. Speaking of leaders, one type of a leader is a president. The president is the head of the state. The main role of the president is to maintain peace and order in their country and to set the moral tone of the nation. There are different types of president that lead the Philippines. The first type is the dictator; it is a ruler who wields absolute authority. The term "dictator" is generally used to describe a leader who holds and/or abuses an extraordinary amount of personal power, especially the power to make laws without effective restraint by a legislative assembly.
