QUESTION 1
1. Analyze the result we obtained regarding the HTTP page response time. Collect four other statistics, of your choice, and rerun the simulation of the simple and the busy network scenarios. Get the graphs that compare the collected statistics. Comment on these results.

Fig 3. Shows Average Response Time (HTTP Page Response Time) For Busy and Simple Network

Other Statistics Collected:

Fig 4 shows Gain Statistics for Simple and Busy Network

Fig 5 shows Integrator Statistics for Simple and Busy Network

Fig6. HTTP Traffic sent (bytes/second)

Fig7. Constant shift Statistics for Simple and Busy Network

QUESTION 2
2. In the Busy network scenario, study the utilization% of the CPUs in the servers

Fig. 10 Database Server CPU Utilization (%)

Fig. 11 File Server CPU Utilization (%)

Fig. 12 Web Server CPU Utilization
Question 3
3. Create a new scenario as a duplicate of the busy network scenario. Name the new scenario Q3_OneServer. Replace the three servers with only one server that supports all required services. Study the utilization% of that server’s CPU. Compare this utilization with the three CPU utilizations you obtained in the previous question.

Fig. 13 shows the all-in-one CPU Utilization (3) servers in one (1) Q server CPU Utilization%

Question 4
4. Create a new scenario as a duplicate of the busy network scenario. Name the new scenario Q4_FasterNetwork. In the Q4_FasterNetwork scenario, replace all 100BaseT links in the network with 10Gbps Ethernet links and replace all 10 BaseT links with 100BaseT links. Study how increasing the bandwidth of the links affects the performance of the network in the new scenario.

Fig. 13 Faster networks replacing all 100 Base T links in the network with 10Gbps and all 10 Base T links with 100 Base T links.
