I admit that sometimes it is not the right decision, but it’s benefits cannot be overlooked. Good parents do this, and I realize this is a bit of stretch, but, wouldn’t a good government do the same thing?
Crazy ideas are the basest of mankind, good and bad. How do you think people reacted when somebody came up with the idea of a computer? They almost definitely said that there is no way that will ever catch on and become big. Now computers and technology rule our lives. This brings me back to my point that ideas can easily become very dangerous. If somebody could come up with an idea that was as equally bad as the technology is good it could ruin the world. And usually when people find out things that they shouldn’t know, they can get some radical, hair-brained ideas. If they can convince enough people in there ways of thinking, they could become the group in power.
In conclusion, those are the reasons that leaders hide things from people. Ultimately to eliminate the threat of chaos. Because no matter how bad the secrets being kept from us are, it cannot be worth putting our whole society at
