Oprah Winfrey, a actress, philanthropist, producer and publisher is known for her popular talk show. She’s a strong woman who’s accomplished so much in her life, she’s showed so much passion and faith to get where she is now. A lot of people knows that she’s a very rich women, but not many know how much she had to persevere through to get where she is. The first example how Oprah Winfrey persevered to be such a successful leader is her childhood. When she was younger she was sexual abused. The article says “she was sexually abused by a number of male relatives and friends of her mother…” Without perseverance she would’ve let those tragic memories haunt her all her life. Another example of Oprah Winfrey's perseverance was how she lived. According
