The difference she has been making in her patients and now in these children lives and their futures and just watching how she loves what she does every moment of everyday has been tremendously inspiring, where I strive to be like her, who can make a difference in people’s lives just by improving their …show more content…

I came to ATA because I’m in the Connect program and to take the fire rescue course here at the ATA. I choose fire rescue because I like to help people out in situations that they are facing in their life. Also, at the ATA, we do a lot of hands-on and verbal materials in the fire rescue course and pass all of the certifications to become a firefighter. My other goal is to go to Horry Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) for my Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). In a few years after I get my EMT I will go back to HGTC for my Paramedic License and get paid to do this type of work every time I’m on shift. Analyzing as a firefighter has revealed that it suits my Introvert, iNtuition, Thinking, Judging (INTJ) personality. My Visual learning style, and my skills are doing hands-on materials. However, A will have to improve a little bit more communication to others in my field to be…

I was one of maybe eight out of a class of 50 who passed the TEAS Exam with a score high enough to grant me admission into their competitive RN program. I hope to first achieve an AS at USF and then to be granted into the AS-MS Accelerated Graduate Program. I know that the program is very competitive, but with the resources provided at USF, I know I can excel. I hope that my strong desire for success shines through what I have written here and that you take my awards, honors, and applicable skills into consideration when deciding on my admission status. It all started before I could remember, walking into my uncle's store with a huge smile while being greeted by his coworkers with a warm welcome. I would sit in the cushioned chairs in the waiting area and stare at the pictures of my cousins hung up above me. I could remember always being fascinated by the different lenses and how the different glasses would make my vision change. Sometimes my uncle would let me in the back of the store, he would show me all the machines and tools for the eye and from that moment on I always had a passion for optometry. Of course throughout the years when people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up I would not answer with “Optometry” because no one knew what it meant and it sounded silly to children. But as my Uncle Robert W. Aube Jr fatefully passed away due to a three year…
