Order Of Darkness Changeling By Philippa Gregory
In my book, Order of Darkness Changeling, the author Philippa Gregory develops the character Luca Vero in multiple ways. One way is through direct description. The book describes him as a “...slightly dark-hired youth, naked to the waist, wearing only breeches, his hazel eyes blinking under a fringe of dark hair. He was about seventeen, with a face as sweet as a young boy, but with the body of a young man forged by hard work.” (Gregory 6). The author also describes Luca through his actions. One example is when Luca keeps a dagger by him at all times, even under his pillow. This shows how smart he is and how he is aware that there is always danger. He also has gotten very angry at people for thinking he is not qualified for his job.

In the book The Leaving, I think the author, Tara Alterbrando, was trying to get the point across not to trust everyone you meet and to be aware of your surroundings. In this book, 6 kindergarteners were abducted and only 5 of them returned 11 years later with no memory of what happened to them. It turns out that their principal along with a scientist took them and tried to erase their memory of a school shooting. The experiment ended up lasting longer than expected and they had to keep the kids for 11 more years. People shouldn’t have trusted the principal and should’ve been paying more attention and been aware of the kids.…

He spends most of his time restoring antiques and “living like an aristocrat, but not actually being one.” His assistant, Danny Hansford is very rowdy, he intrudes on Berendt's interview of Williams by storming into Mercer house cursing a certain “Bonnie” and insists that he get “jacked up” on drugs.…

How are you, Anthony? Hope you are doing well as I am. Recently, I finished reading a book called Night by Elise Wiesel. This book is based on a real life circumstance endured by young Elie Wiesel. I truly enjoyed reading this book, therefore, I believe that you will enjoy it too. So I am recommending this book to you to read. Reading this book will give you a more in-depth, personal view of Elie’s experience during the Holocaust. An interesting fact: Holocaust was derived from the Greek word ‘holokauston’ which translates to ‘sacrifice by fire’.…
