Ordinance Violation Report
On 5/30/17 at 1152 hrs, I was dispatched to 4677 118th Ave N, Pinellas Park FL,33781, in reference to an Ordinance Violation.
Upon my arrival, I made contact one of the managers of Midway Services, Roger Vest, regarding the issued. Vest advised the neighboring business has two dogs that continuously walk onto their property and defecate on their grass. Vest began to explain how this issued has gone on for almost five months and before day, animal control gave the owner a warning regarding his dogs.
Vest advised on 5/26/17 at 1310 hours the owner of Midway Services witness one the dogs walked out of Peterson’s Auto & Truck and walked onto their grass and defecate multiple times. The dog walked back into the property of Peterson’s Auto & Truck. Vest was able to obtain a video copy of the incident, which he allowed me to watch.

The Pincher was observed defecating around the tree before walking back onto the property. After watching the video, I obtained a DVD copy of the incident and placed it into PCSO Property & Evidence.
I walked over to Peterson’s Auto & Truck and made contact with Kevin Peterson regarding the issues. Peterson began to explain how he tries to keep an eye on his dogs, but sometimes business is very busy and he unable to check on them.
I asked Peterson did he received a warning from Animal Control regarding this issued and he advised he did. At this time I wrote Peterson an ordinance violation under Section 5-211 Defecation in Public Places.
A Notice to Appear was set for 06/29/17 at 0830 hours at the Court Justice Center, Courtroom
