Describe the managers functions, roles and skills
Manager: someone who gets things done through other people in organizations. • Organization: a consciously coordinate social unit composed of two or more people that functions on a relatively continuous basis to achieve a common goal or set of goals. • Planning, organizing, leading, and controlling are the most often studied.
Mintzberg concluded that managers perform 10 different, highly interrelated roles or set of behaviors attributable to their jobs.
