According to resources, agreeableness describes people who are fond of working with other people. In general, individuals who have this trait are trustworthy, cooperative, considerate, friendly, and helpful. These people are easily liked and they can easily interact or communicate well with others because they have a positive view of human nature. In a career test, social harmony is one of the most important goals for individuals who grades high on this particular personality trait. And usually, women are more incline to score higher in agreeableness than men. Agreeable individuals are keen on compromising their interest for others. These individuals find that it is vital to get along with the society.
Individuals who scores low on agreeableness trait or are disagreeable tend to put their own concentration above other people. Disagreeable characters are commonly unfriendly, not helpful, unsupportive and are not attentive, to which all of these characteristics are the total opposite of agreeableness. These people are the least popular or the least favorable but they normally do not care at all. They have a negative view of human nature and are low on trust, thus they do not communicate well with the community.
I do agree that I have the traits of this personality because I am friendly according to my friends and I enjoy being around people. I like to help the community when they are in need and I would put aside my interest for other people. One of the most suitable jobs for agreeableness trait is a customer service manager. Customer service managers have to guarantee that the requirements of customers are being contented. The purpose is to deliver first-rate customer service and to encourage the idea through the association they are working for. I would undeniably go for this job and the job title, as I would always want to make sure that my customers are pleased with what I have to offer and do for them. This job also requires individuals to communicate courteously with customers either face-to-face or through the telephone, write reports to scrutinize the customer service that the organization deliver and examine and resolve customers’ problems, which may be complicated or long-standing difficulties that have been delivered on by customer service assistants. I am able to meet the requirements because I can converse with my customers in a nice and friendly way so that they would always feel comfortable when conversing with me. I enjoy solving problems hence to solve any customers’ problems; I will not hesitate and be more than happy to do so.
Besides agreeableness, I also have the characteristic of the openness personality, which comes second. Openness to experience individuals is open-minded and is always willing to try something new. They are indeed exploratory, inspired, artistic, and are always curious. These people appreciate artwork, poetry and literature reading, attending to new music and tasting out dishes or food they have never tried before. I will have to agree on this trait as I do love exploring new things and I am open-minded. I possess a little bit of the adventurous trait in my personality as I always agree to do something that I know I would not but to just give it a try.
For openness to experience personality trait, one of the jobs that matches this personality is advertising. I would not mind to be working in an advertising agency because I find that this job is quite exciting and fun but I do know that individuals working in an advertising company occasionally has to work late nights. The job requirements for this particular profession obliges individuals who are creative in giving viewpoints on a television or radio commercial and advertise brands with new products through posters or billboards. I assume I can meet the requests of this job as I find advertising enjoyable and I love giving out opinions that are innovative and I would not mind working late nights at the workplace.
In my conclusion, I believe that the personality traits that I possess are positive traits and the job that matches both agreeableness and openness to experience; I would very much enjoy the professions and I am confident that I would be able to find a career in these areas, if I continue with the personality traits that retain.

In chapter 10 of the textbook “Experience Psychology” by Laura A. King, it talks about The Five-Factor Model of Personality. The book defines this as the following: “The five super-traits that are thought to describe the main dimension of personality: neuroticism (emotional instability), extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness, and conscientiousness. Researchers in personal psychology describe these as the five broad personal dimensions that represent the natural language and most accurately describe the different ways that psychologists study traits (352). The supertraits – Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism can be made into the anagram OCEAN.…
