ADDRESS BY DIRECTOR-RIET.
Good morning to all present on this auspicious occasion of Inception Programme of first year B Tech students who are entering the arena of engineering professionals with big dreams and high ambitions.
On this day on behalf of RIET I heartily welcome Honourable Minister of Haryana Government – Madam. Sharda Rathore as the Chief Guest and Sr VP of Airtel – Shri S K Sharma as the Presiding Guest of Honour for today’s function. I also take this opportunity to welcome Chairman of Rawal Institutions – Sh. C B Rawal, Vice Chairman – Sh. Mukesh Goel, President – Sh. Mahender Goyal, Vice President – Sh. Anil Rawal, Director (RIM) – Dr. Bimal Agarwal, the fellow members of the teaching fraternity, dear students and their parents.
I congratulate once again the fresh engineering aspirants for choosing a career which is based on good understanding of the basics and applying this knowledge for creation of new products which are better, faster, cheaper and user friendly. When innovation gets added to creativity the new product thus created belongs to the next generation. As mentioned by Prof. Chaggar, this path of learning engineering skills is not that rosy. Your time management, hard work and intelligent efforts after four years will determine whether you become just one more engineering graduate or an engineer who is remembered for his creations. If you really wish to learn the engineering skills then you have to dirty your hands in labs, workshop and industrial training.
One more thing I would like to add here that if you have chosen your engineering discipline or the branch according to your own liking and conviction, and put whole hearted efforts to convert your discipline to your passion, I can assure you that you would not require to work for rest of your life!!! It’s amazing that when one follows his passion, he forgets
