Following the inclusion of monotheism, especially in Islam and Christianity, the present generation is more logistic and has set aside traditional myths about their metaphysical origins. The term dusun (the Malay language of Brunei stands for the garden) is used by the Brunei during the sultanate of the Brunei dominates the west coast of northern Borneo.
