Similarities and Differences Between Atlanta and Orlando Atlanta and Orlando are two cities that located in the southeastern corner of the Untied States. Both of these cities have high population and living standards. People who live in these two destinations have similar traditional cultures. Atlanta and Orlando offers festivals and art exhibits. These two spots have theme parks, which is an ideal place for children’s entertainment. Atlanta and Orlando is a great place for families. Although there are some similarities between Atlanta and Orlando, there are many noticeable differences on categories such as career, education, transportation and housing between the two cities. Both cities have different types of schools to offer from public to private. Atlanta has a variety of law schools. Orlando has more to offer on medical schools. The major difference is between costs. Although the annual starting range may be near $5,000 in Atlanta and Orlando, many private schools in Atlanta may range up to $12,000 annually. In Orlando, private schools range may range to $24,000, according to the Our Kids Article. For a person to attend a public university the average in-state tuition in Atlanta cost around $5,000 and out-state cost about $10,000. This bus system cost $2.50 each ride and with an initial charge of one dollar. The MARTA also offers day passes, which allows people unlimited rides for a flat fee. If a person needed to ride the MARTA for a week, the seven day pass would cost $23.75. In Orlando, the daily source of transportation is the LYNX, which operates over 61 bus routes serving surrounding counties as well such as Seminole, Osceola Lake, Volusia, and Polk. The LYNX bus system charges two dollars per ride. The all day passes are $2.25 and the seven day pass are $8. They also offer monthly passes which are thirty dollars. The international airport in Atlanta is called Hartsfield-Jackson. This airport offers Domestic Carriers such as Alaska, American, Delta, Frontier, Southwest, Spirit and United. International carriers are also offer such as Air Canada and France, British Airways, KLM Royal Dutch and Lufthansa German Airlines, and Virgin Atlantic.
