Osteosarcoma Case Study

Osteosarcoma is a malignant tumor that begins in the bone. Each year, approximately 400 children in the U.S. are diagnosed with osteosarcoma. It is associated with rapid growth, so it is rarely seen in kids before puberty. There is a five-year survival rate. This cancer is also likely to be curable in some matters. Osteosarcoma affects more guys than girls and most kids are taller than average. Zach matched all the statistics. He was a male, almost done with puberty, tall and skinny.
Zach Sobiech was a 14 year old boy who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. He had blonde patchy ringlets for hair, soft, blue eyes and a scarred, beautiful soul.
