Otzi the Iceman also known as Similaun man was mounted at an upright position of approximately 158cm (5’2”) and weighed 60-61kgs
Scientist had done an analysis of Otzi and was able to discover that he spent most of his life in the Austro-Italian area. Scientist also analysed the left over minerals from his teeth, bones, and intestines and compared them with water and soil samples that had been with drawn from a vast area of alpines. The results of the Analysis had suggested that Otzi came from a village in the Eisack Valley in Southern Tyrol, yet he never moved more than 60km from his birthplace.2
