In "The Cask Of Armadillo" Montresor the narrator and the main character and Fortunato the other main character get into a conflict that leads to Montresor wanting to kill Fortunato. He wants to kill Fortunato because he is sick and tired of him doing stuff better than him and making him look like a fool. then he lures Fortunato into the catacombs where he would be killed.
