Math has always been my weak point in school, I have known it since I entered Kindergarten. As years passed I began to struggle more, I required more attention than most student when it came to learning subjects such as basic algebra and geometry. By the time I reached my freshmen year I already began to feel hopeless. I quickly started to fall behind the rest of my classmates. No matter how many notes I took or time I spent practicing on my own I just could not seem to understand how something like ‘5a + 10b = c’ could possibly equal anything whatsoever. My first semester of high school math, failed. All I wanted to do was sit down and admit defeat, nothing I could do could save me from continuing to tumble down from this spot. Later that week I got called down to the guidance councilor, we discussed my problems and ways to possibly fix the mess I was in. I came out of that office with a new hope. That night I talked to my parents about getting a tutor to help me in my grades. Both of them happily agreed and I started getting tutored. With the help of my tutor I managed to pass the second semester of Algebra
