Overcoming Obstacles Of Stress In College Students
The most stressful time, which is known as college years, is the toughest time that encounters almost every college student. Stress can affect college students in various ways such as socially, academically, and economically (Holinka, 2015). The most powerful weapon students use to get over, or to at least try, is to connect with people and socialize. Students can overcome the obstacles of stress through the social support. Students tend to use the source to deal with stress, and its usually the support from family and friends. As for the definition of stress, it is defined as during the daily routine stress is a kind of force that people face, and no force in earth can prevent it from happening. Emotional stress is made up of two main abilities, one is understanding, and the second is managing. This actually a huge aspect the effect the second party in a relationship, because in a stressful relationship either one of the parties has to be stressed out of all the responsibilities he has and tends to ignore the part that might understand all the pressure he gets out of it. As a result of that the stressed out party will ditch the unstressed party and will expect that the other party knows how stressed he/she is and wait for a reassuring about life. Meanwhile, the unstressed party thinks that the stressed party is ignoring, ditching, uncaring, and no longer wanting to know him/her again due to all the things that has to be take good care …show more content…
College students think that when they have things to do which will eventually result in stress they do not have to do any activity. Although, it is scientifically proven that not a single student is supposed to go over 90 minutes of straight work and studying without taking a break. A break that can refresh the minds, restore back brain cells and liven up good, new and productive thoughts can actually minimize the stress in any way. But, unfortunately, not doing any activity will cause in some kind of dissatisfaction with body image and some sort of obesity later on. Which is, in my opinion, one of the main issues that trends all around the world and in need for a solution, because it can actually lead to serious illness and death. Lastly, for the positive and negative effects on the individual is perceived and should be balanced out between stress and depression, social interaction, and involving in the society. According to studies, as it is proven that if the individual is all about social interaction, stress will go down, which means less
