I will now explain how their style of organisation helps them to fulfil their purposes.
Business 1, Mokiem Koeriersbedrijf:
This business has only one purpose, and that’s making profit. But how do they do that. The owner of the business will try to get as much as possible orders. He visits big logistic businesses and leaves there his advertisement that he can ship orders from them to their customers. When they call him, they make an appointment when the orders have to be delivered. The accountant keeps up the orders that the owner makes so that they all will know how much the logistic business has to pay to Mokiem Koeriersbedrijf. When the accountant is done the invoice maker, makes invoices for logistic businesses that hired Mokiem Koeriersbedrijf. Mokiem Koeriersbedrijf always says that how more orders how better, and it’s never to busy, how busier how better. Mokiem Koeriersbedrijf always go to as much as possible business so that he is assured of enough of money a week. The business can only remain existing if the business makes.
Business 2, Thorbecke Scholengemeenschap:
The business wants the best school, to reach that purpose they need to have the most students, the less absence en the highest success rate.
Dependent on the little absence there is a higher success rate. But how do they reach the little absence of the students to have a high success rate? The team leaders and the teachers point students many time on the fact that more absence is a lower success rate, and they will get in trouble with the attendance officer. A lot of absent could lead to a suspension. The administration keeps track of the absence of the students. If the absence of a student is too much, the administration warns the counsellor and the team leaders. The counsellor or the team leaders approach the student with it and they have a word about the absence of the student. That’s one important purpose of the school, the lowest absence. The will get a high success rate, if their lessons are good and if the students understand everything. There are also help lessons for students who find it hard to understand the subjects. There are also a lot of practise test given by the teachers to see if the students understand everything. The schedule maker makes schedules for students with as less as possible between hours so that the student can focus the entire school day. The schedule maker also tries to make schedules so that the students are early free. So that they have time for their homework. The porters keep the school clean, hygienic and neatly so that the school looks good. The principals decide what will happen with the school. They want to adjust the school so that it will satisfy all students. The principals tell the team leaders and teachers what to do. If the team leaders or the teachers have too much trouble with a student, they’ll go to the principals and tell them their problem. The principals invite the students to their room and speak to them. Mostly of the time the conversation ends with a suspension for the
student.
