Factors to consider when animating for the web
Special techniques;
Animated Rollovers: It is a button that is created on a page on the internet designed to create interactivity between its self and the user. The rollover is when the user of the animation rolls there mouse over the image being created in order to change the page. For the motion of the mouse to actually work, the rollover must be set to a rolling of the courser for it to work and move.
Email Attachments: They are usually used for jokes, important messages and files that need to be sent immediately. Email attachments are more often than not chain mail, these attachments are sent to groups of people who then the pass the information in the email on to another group of people, companies often send chain mail and these attachments in order to promote and advertise products as well attract new customers.
Output devices;
Mobile Phones: Viewing on mobile phones is very different to viewing on a computer, on a website or laptop you see the whole page, in comparison to IPhone where you see the whole of the web page but in smaller, you can however zoom in to see what the text say, it is important to know not every phone will have this access though. In some cases like the iPhones case with flash player, apple will not allow access to this software or their animation as they don’t support the software. Accessibilty and the ease of the animation or web page need to be of the same quality on a mobile phone as they are on the PC, this can be making search engine web sites, easy to use by laying it out much like the web page but in simpler terms, accessibility is things like touch screen, if the business haven’t made the page accessible by using touchscreen then users will encounter problems trying to navigate around the page and links.
Monitor: Monitors are able to show any animations as long as they have the correct plug ins that will support the software so that the monitor can show the animation upon it, pre loaders can also help the monitor.
PDA: PDA’s cant access and support java and frames, the layout is it small and basic can’t support and allow access to complex technology, the graphics are also very poor and don’t fit websites with complex technology and enhanced layouts.

Google’s first animated doodle came out in 2010. There is a team of artists and engineers that take the Google Logo and create specific animations that relate to a certain holiday or event happening on a particular date. The illustrations are sometimes interactive, and the viewer can control what goes on with a key on their keyboard. The short animations are meant to draw a response from the viewer. They are specifically designed to be engaging, and make you feel like you are a part of the animation. The first animated Google Doodle was created for Sir Isaac Newton’s Birthday, and displayed an apple falling from a tree. This doodle showed a single movement. The animations have evolved over time, but still remain simplistic. They interact with the viewer and prompt you to click on the doodle to read the background information about that specific…
