Have you ever heard someone say, “I bet you could not walk a mile in my shoes!”? Let us say by coincidence, you are wearing the same brand, style and size shoes as someone; no matter the physical resemblance between the shoes, you will never truly understand the personal experience of being the person who owns the pair. Empathy on Earth exists, but what you perceive of someone’s emotions is only a portion of what that person truly feels. With that being said, many different words might come to mind when I state the name of the criminal I have chose to write about. For just a few minutes while you read my interpretation of their story, try to be conscious of your empathy. Are people born evil or are we simply products of the environment we grew up in? Does a bad person get any credit for having good intentions?
