    “The Scarlet Ibis” is a very interesting story. There are two main characters. One is the older brother. Then there is his little brother Doodle. In the story Doodle is supposed to be a special sign because he was born in a caul. He got his name because instead of crawling forward when he was a baby he would turn around and back up.
