Una variedad de frutas y verduras cultivadas localmente se pone en la Ciudad de Panamá los días. Algunos son comunes en otros países, pero también hay muchos que son menos conocidos, como uchuvas, guanabana, ñamé, granadilla, nampi, camote, otoe and plantain. Los cocos se encuentran y se utilizan en Panamá comúnmente; vendedores a vender en las calles con una rodaja hackeado para que quepan una paja. La leche de coco y el agua se pueden comprar en la mayoría de tiendas y se utiliza con frecuencia en la cocina. Hay muchos vendedores ambulantes con carritos, carros de proveedores vinculados a las bicicletas o motocicletas, venta de empanadas caseras en las concurridas calles de la ciudad de Panamá. Una empanada es hojaldre relleno de carne, queso, patatas o verduras. A veces también se ofrece carne de res o camarón. Para el desayuno que disfrutan hojaldras que es donas espolvoreadas con azúcar. Algunos platos principales son arroz con pollo, pollo suele ser lento cocidos con verduras y especias y servido con arroz, y y el sancocho, que es un guiso de locales muy popular, hecha con vegetales de pollo, tomates y cilantro.

A variety of fruits and vegetables grown locally is put into Panama City day. Some are common in other countries, but there are many that are less well known , such as gooseberries , soursop , Name , passion fruit, taro , sweet potato, taro and plantain . Coconuts and are commonly used in Panama ; sellers to sell on the streets with a slice hacked to fit a straw. Coconut milk and water can be purchased at most grocery stores and is often used in the kitchen. There are many street vendors with carts , carts suppliers linked to bicycles or motorcycles , selling homemade pies on the busy streets of the city of Panama . A pie is pastry filled with meat, cheese , potatoes or vegetables. Sometimes beef or shrimp are also available. For breakfast enjoy it hojaldras donuts sprinkled with sugar .
