For one, it brings a fresh perspective in a genre dominated by repetitive Hollywood titles especially one involving greek mythological figures. Furthermore, it also is a great implementation of the postmodern elements in a film during the 21st century as it organically blends the different elements that make a postmodern film what it is. Unlike other films, it opens up avenues for discussion that cannot be done with other mainstream film.
4) Apart from direct lessons from the plot line, the film also brings a new form of "meta learning" wherein we are able to learn more about how we are able to grasp the lessons that we attain from the film. The first of the lessons learned is that actual practical implementation of a lesson is more suited for learning about literary techniques especially one as complex as postmodern literature. Secondly, the value for originality has different perspectives exemplified in the film, which itself borrows heavily from Greek literature.
