Paper On Stephen Hawking
It is surprising that out of eight-hundred people that have been honored on a postage stamp, Stephen Hawking is not one of them. In his long life of seventy-three years, he has received about sixteen major awards, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Albert Einstein Medal. He is becoming old and should be celebrated before he passes. People that are on postage stamps usually fit within certain criteria, like contributing to the progression of the human race, or being famous for helping and inspiring other people. Stephen Hawking deserves to be the next person commemorated on a stamp, because he has made several great and famous theories, is an inspiration to future theoretical physicists, and above all, has overcome his disability

Corwin Sprunger Coach Fox English III - 6 1 March 2015 Dr. Theodor Seuss Geisel There are many other people that could be placed on a stamp but Dr. Seuss is a little different than other people. Dr. Seuss should be placed on a commemorative postage stamp because he had a big imagination, entertained people and helped children learn how to read. When he was young, he made “loopy” drawings of animals, characters, and people. Even his father took him to the zoo to help him be creative with his drawings. Einstein’s response to Phyllis’s question was ineffective because it lacks ethos, pathos, and it did not give a straight forward answer to the question.…
