Judging from her diary, she was a outgoing, spirited child that got in trouble frequently. Her father, Otto Frank, was a businessman while her mother, Edith, stayed home taking care of Anne and her older sister, Margot. Her sister, Margot, was three years older than her. Anne Frank's family lived a tranquil life before the Nazis pervaded the land in World War II. After the Dutch surrendered to the Nazis, the Nazis demanded the Margot was to go to a work camp. The family then hid in the empty space of Otto Frank's business company called the secret annex for two years in Amsterdam .On August 4, 1944, a German secret police officer accompanied by four Dutch Nazis stormed into the Secret Annex, arresting everyone that was hiding there. Anne Frank's family was betrayed by an anonymous tip, still anonymous to this day. Anne and her sister was sent to a concentration camp, and died of typhus in the early springtime of March 1945. The Hiding Place opens in 1937 with the ten Boom family celebrating the 100th anniversary of their watch and repair business, now run by the family 's elderly father, Casper. The business took up the ground floor of the family home, known as the Beje. Casper lived with his unmarried daughters Corrie, the watchmaker, and Betsie, who took care of the house. It seemed as if everyone in the Dutch town of Haarlem had shown up to the party, including Corrie 's sister Nollie, her brother, Willem, and her nephews Peter and Kik. Willem, a minister in the Dutch Reformed Church, brought a Jewish man who had just escaped from Germany as a guest. The man 's beard had been burned off by thugs, a grim reminder of what was happening just to the east of Holland. Then, in 1940, the Nazis invaded Holland.…

Young Anne Frank left her diary and her heart when she passed away in June 1945. Her surviving father then edited the diary. This version then became well-known around the world as The Diary of a Young Girl; the heartwarming story of a girl during the Holocaust and her experiences while hiding in the Secret Annex. This story explores forbidden love, hatred and jealousy among the two families living together. There were also numerous references to Hitler and the Nazi's, as well as strong opinions on other political parties. Culpeper Public Schools in Virginia banned this book due to sexually explicit material and homosexual themes. It is very surprising that they weren't worried about references to the Holocaust. This shows what motivates governments and schools. may not be what you expect.…

According to www.drugabuse.gov, it is estimated that fifty two million people with at least twenty percent being twelve or older, have used prescription drugs for nonmedical reasons at least once in their lifetimes. Adolescents often share or sell their medications to those who are not prescribed, and have no other way of receiving them. Constant misuse can lead to many health problems, and in extreme cases even death. Besides the abuse,…
