Paraprofessional Reflection

In addition, to a staff recognition program, I created a paraprofessional in training presentation. The goal of the presentation was to train future paraprofessionals in their role and expectations as it relates to school policy. The presentation helped teachers provide less training to paraprofessionals during instructional time. They were better able to focus on teaching and achieving student goals. New paraprofessionals were more confident when stepping into the classroom. I take pleasure in being able to help teachers and paraprofessionals work together to meet the needs of the students.
