He thought about ways to achieve this goal when the Devil himself took over his thoughts. It was then that one distracted the youngest and the other used his dagger to stab him in the back. When the youngest finally took his last breath and was dead the two remaining men felt the need to celebrate with a drink before it was time to bury his body. Unknown that there was poison in the two bottles they drank until it was them who also perished. It was then that Death claimed two more lives. The Pardoners Tale truly shows the greed and hypocrisy in humanity. The three men swore to each other that they would always be brothers; they will stand by each other, and die for one another.
