Executive Summary Palton Road is located in the neighborhood of Belmont Ridge, across the street from Neshaminy Mall. This street is located on a hill in which drivers travel down daily, often times at high speeds. Along this lane there is an intersection connecting Larzelere Road with Palton Road. This intersection serves as a bus stop for not only one, but four different school districts. A simple stop or yield sign can be purchased at a local hardware store for as little as $24 for the sign itself another $10-$15 for the foundation and sign post. Including the manual labor of two workers ($14.02 an hour each) the whole process should take about an hour to two at a total of about $60-$80. The project would be small scale, yet effective without placing a dent in the township’s budget.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, although accidents are not 100% preventable, there are precautions that can be taken to avoid the risk of injury or accident.
