These people served as a ray of hope for Davis and this is the time when a new transformation took place in his life. The scales of disbelief and fear were taken off his eyes by God and he felt as if he was a completely new-born Christian. It was God who worked towards melting Davis’s heart made of stone and offered him the radical redemption and the joy of serving the entire 20 years of imprisonment which was indeed not that long.
