TABLE 4.9 shows most of the respondent had high knowledge regarding normal sign in pregnancy, labor and puerperium. 91.8% and 95.9% of the respondent know that nausea/vomiting and missed period are normal sign of pregnancy, while fairly high percentage of respondents 69.4% was not normal sign of pregnancy as opposed to 30.6% who might experience blurred vision during pregnancy and thought it was a normal sign. Most of the respondent know normal sign of labor and puerperium.

TABLE 4.10 shows danger signs in pregnancy, labor and puerperium 80.6% of respondents affirm that severe vaginal bleeding is a danger sin in pregnancy with only 19.4% responding otherwise. Likewise 76.5% affirm that pelvic/ abdominal pain is a danger sign in pregnancy, it could be ectopic or sign of miscarriage. Most 57.1% affirm that morning sickness is a danger sign in pregnancy while 42.9% were of the opinion that is not a danger sign in pregnancy. 79.6% and 69.4% knew that prolonged labor and retained placenta were danger signs in labor. 78.6% of the respondent knew that convulsion is a danger sign in labor. 63.3% of respondents affirmed that severe vaginal bleeding was a danger sign in pregnancy. About 36.7% of respondents thought that labor contraction associated with back pain was a danger sign in labor as opposed to those who answered in affirmation that back pain was not a danger sign in labor.
85.7% of the respondents knew that heavy vaginal bleeding was a danger sign in the postpartum period. 64.3% affirmed that foul smelling vaginal discharge was also a danger sign in puerperium. Also, most of the respondents knew that high fever was a danger sign of the puerperium period with about 63.3% answering in the affirmative. Finally, about 79.6% know that normal menstruation is not a danger sign in
puerperium.
