Tristan Knaus, proprietor of the motel named Peaceful Rest Motor Lodge, has been experiencing challenges regarding growing of his business. Profit of the Peaceful Rest Motor Lodge has been downsizing because of less uses of marketing strategies. Lack of promotional activities is the hinderance of losing profit. Thus, Knaus belongs in the decision-making dilemma. He has to take vigorous decision whether he should make minor changes existed functional structure of should or he should join a motel chain. A decision must have a long-standing consequence thus Knaus to alteration his decision.

They do not advertise about their product and service. Their main concern is to keep low cost not for themselves, also for their customers. That’s why they do not invest enough in publicity as well as in sales promotion. Additionally, the management does not keep any signals for indicating the location. They just keep only two indicators in front of the motel. The management thinks that as customers drive to the resort area, so, they can find their motel easily by seeing those two signals. Based on this point customers could find the place, was the wrong consideration. Lack of promotional operations is the reason behind having less customer.
