Additionally, the study wants to interpret the answers given by the respondents to analyze and understand whether they are more influenced by a person with certain characteristic and interpret what this characteristic have to be able to persuade or pressure someone.
The title “Peer Pressure: an Input to Social Dominance” was chosen to describe what characteristic of a person or a friend is dominantly affecting the decision of an individual in his life. In a group or circle of friends, there is someone who is constantly followed and listened to by the other members when making decisions and this may be because he is good looking it can also be because he is the smartest in the group or the most popular among them. The study would describe what among these characteristics are the most affecting and why it does affect other people. Another thing is that being good-looking, smart or popular should be described thoroughly so that others or the readers of this research would be able to understand the study well.
Furthermore, the goal of the research is to understand why these dominant characteristics or why a certain characteristic of a friend affects another individual in making simple or big decisions in life. Moreover, it aims to understand how these characteristics affect the dominance of a person in a group and how peer pressure influenced their group of friends. This study also wants to know and understand why some people are easily influenced by their friends, what are the traits that they see on others that made them follow. Lastly, it also wants to understand how peer pressure affects friendship.
