Contribute ideas and feedback to the group from initial discussions throughout project completion. For the group to run smoothly we will need all the members to bring ideas and opinions this will allow each one to give their opinion best for the project. Before submitting the project we will all have an opportunity to look over the material for good points.…
I have to say I honestly felt hesitant to do the partner project in the beginning due to my bad experiences working in groups in the past. Thankfully this experience was a total success, which has changed my outlook on group projects. Hannah was a joy to work with not only because she is a great writer but also because she is a great person. I had never actually written a full length research paper with another individual, and I think this also allowed me to be somewhat hesitant to the idea. Hannah and myself decided to talk about the fascinating story of “The Ministers Black Veil”, and we were able to construct an amazing research paper from the text. Nathaniel Hawthorne allows his readers to become so involved in his writing, which inhibits…
We all had idividual roles and responsibilitys for the activity, Our main role was to take responsibility for the planning and implementation of promotional activities, Roles were set during the group meeting, the different roles were set each meeting, e.g. Organising a photographer for the shoot, Liz was responible for this, Posters was set by Sophie, then to distribute them Sarah and Sophie C was responsible.…
Firstly, we decided that each person developed an own idea about the financial report and accounting challenge. Then we intended to assign tasks for every group member accounting to structure which included in task details. Each person should analyze their own point about challenge and we allocated group parts, such as introduction, by personal willing. I took responsibility of making a conclusion of report and making up all parts from others. Other members took care of title, executive summary, introduction , methodology etc. Basically, we did work as a group. We would share our ideas though group message. For example, we tried to avoid to talk about the same point when we did our personal parts. When we finished everyone’s issues, we combined those 5 ideas together. And then we could continue to write down introduction or conclusion.…
The 1800s brought many new technological advances that helped transform American life. These advances led to an economic and physical growth. Inventions brought a continuous growth in the population. New modes of transportation created a highly affective trading system. The three most important technological advances were the Erie Canal, Railroads, and the cotton gin.…
I honestly had no problem with my group. They all worked hard and completed all assigned tasks…
Group composition is a mix of individuals that provides the best chemistry for interaction and achievement of a goal. In the way of group Composition I believe that our group is fairly reasonable. We have a group team leader in Travis to take charge if need be. We have Michael who will suggest alternate ideas that we might not think about. Then we have Ryan who is a Energizer, that helps kick our group into gear and motivate us when we are getting lazy or off topic.…
In “See Aggression...Do Aggression” Bandura’s theoretical proposition was that he believed that children can learn to be aggressive. Bandura decided to conduct an experiment to see if he was right. He believed that if you expose a child to either a aggressive model or a nonaggressive model that the children would imitate the actions of the model. His test would show to just what extent the children mimic the behaviors displayed.…
A self-driving car can sense its environment and things around it. It also has a GPS unit in the car, the car uses the positional information from the GPS to localize itself and give a 3-D image. From the 3-D images, humans program the car to make intelligent decisions , for example using the 3-D to find an optimal path to their destination that avoids obstacles. Once the vehicle finds the best path to take, it sends a signal to the different parts of the car(steering, braking, throttle etc). According to robohub.com, the car uses model input(by the creators) to find what object is which and how to react to them. For example if the car sees a 2 wheeled object moving at 40 mph, it will know it is a motorcycle instead of a bicycle. I think…
As part of my Business Innovation Development Project Unit, I had the opportunity to put myself into group with my friends or people I believed I could work well with. In the first stages of our group we all tried to get to know each other more through analysing personality and learning types’ test that we previously undertook. I realise we were going through the normal stages of the team formation in particular forming and norming (Tuckman, 1965). In my assignment group we had all Belbin team roles which helped us perform well throughout our project and also helped us to identify other team members’ behavioural strengths and weaknesses. During the initial stages of the group getting together I believed it was important that we all had a clear objective and somewhat of a pathway of what we wanted to achieve and that everyone shared duties within the group. My group members had roles such as researching the market to see if there is a demand for Youni which was our product for university students, they also dealt with the financial side of our product and making analysis between our product and our competitor’s product.…
members of each group. On reflection I found at such an early stage it was difficult to understand what my role was and as the aim of the group work was to finish exercises, mine and the groups focus was task related.…
The dynamics of this team were amazing, it was the easiest and smoothest flowing team I’ve been on. Team morale started high and stayed high throughout, not one team member left the team or became disengaged, none of us felt burned out, despite that the length of the project was quite long and the workload was on top of our day-to-day work. When brainstorming, they all added input and I didn’t feel like any one team member was left out or did not have their voice heard. It was really successful, not just the end result or the deliverables at the end of the day, the process itself and the way in which we arrived at the outcome was fantastic. Having said that, we didn’t quite meet our goals because they were set quite steep. Regardless, I would still consider it a successful endeavour. What’s more, I would venture that if I asked the rest of the team the same question I would receive the same answer. I have since never been on a team like that.…
I have not specifically worked on a “coding project” in a group setting, but I have worked with a group to solve a coding task. During my research experience at Washington University in St. Louis, I worked with two other undergraduates to improve the efficiency of the machine learning algorithm built into the educational software Looking Glass. As a team we worked to improve the efficiency of their Python based code, and ultimately increased the percent efficiency of their machine learning output from 67% to…
Our project began with brainstorming sessions on how to approach the task at hand. On this first level, we were discussing about so many information that we felt it was time that we pulled those ideas together and start working on the project. Each of us did our share in the project and later a meet up was initiated to discuss and compiled our information.…
In the time of five weeks, I have done the group project with my group. My group has four members: Le Anh Khoi, To Chuong Long, Phan Uyen Nhi (co-leader) and Phuong Uyen (leader). “Is Technology Helping Vietnam's Economy?” was the question of our project. My role was to write project plan, contents page, the introduction and working on the poster. Although I have finished my jobs in my group, I still think that I did less than some of the group’s members.…
