People Attend College or University for Many Different Reasons

People attend college or university for many different reasons (for example new experiences, career preparation, increasing knowledge). Why do you think people attend college or university? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Nowadays, a lot of young men attend college or university for many different reasons. I think college or university are really good environment for us to prepare for our work in the future as well as to be admitted in a good company.

First of all, college or university can help you have a good preparation for your work in the future. One reason is that colleges or universities have many professors or good teacher in lots of different faculties with lots of helpful lectures. They have libraries with a lot of books and a quiet side with good conditions for you to study. So you can receive a lot of knowledge in your field if you attend one of these schools. For example, when I learned Mathematic in my university, I was learned so many new subjects and they were taught by some good teacher so it brought to me a lot of useful things. Another reason is that universities usually associate with some good company to train their students so you can have some real experiences afterwards. Students after some semesters at school can work for a company, which linked with their colleges, for a short time so they can have chances to use what they learned from their school and after that, they can be very skillful in their work later.

Secondly, it also helps you have opportunities to get a good job and to be succeeded in your life. Graduating one college or university always is an important criterion for big companies to appreciate employees when they applied for these companies. Therefore, when you learned well at university, you can be confident to be offered by several companies. Moreover, you can even have a good position in your future company, too. For instance, most of important positions in some famous companies are belong to people, who graduated from reputed colleges in real life.

Finally, university or college will help you to have a lot of excellent characteristics. Being admitted is very difficult but learning at these schools is even more difficult and it is really a big challenge for each of us. You must be hard, be patient and be creative to learn in the most difficult level. One example is that when you learn in the university, there are a lot of tasks you have to do. Therefore, if you don’t get hard, you can’t complete these tasks in time. In addition, when you learn in the college, you are sometimes required to talk about some issues, which involve your study. To make your presentation is not so boring to other students you should think some new ways to do this such as do it in the computers, make a drama and so on.

In conclusion, I believe that these are the main reasons that people choose university or college to study and so do I. Having knowledge, good characteristics and a good job are certainly major purposes for people today to have a heated race to attend colleges or universities.
