People Should Not Buy Animal Tested Products
Using innocent animals for dreadful scientific and commercial testing is not right. A majority of animals used in research are either killed during the experiment or they are euthanized afterwards (Humane society, 2016). Even though animal testing makes some discoveries, 92% of those are harmful to humans, plus there are other testing methods that come at a significantly lower price. To help reduce the amount of animal testing, people should not buy animal tested products, because if no one buys the products then there will be no need for testing, plus animals and humans will be over all safer.

    One of the main reasons I am against animal testing is the fact that the animals don’t have a choice and are being forced to be tested, which can lead to them getting seriously ill or dying as a cause of the testing. Each year in the USA alone, an estimate of 70 million animals are taken away from their natural habitat, blinded, scalded, force-fed chemicals, genetically manipulated, and basically hurt and killed in the name of science, by private institutions, household product and cosmetics companies, government agencies, educational institutions, and scientific centres. That is not right in my opinion and I don’t particularly see how it can be right in any morally correct human being’s opinion.
