Book report The book People Who Made History Adolf Hitler by Brenda Stalcup, it is a autobiography. The book is about Hitler’s early life and, what made him want kill to everyone Jewish person. It also talks about how most of his family died and which lead to a depression he had most of his life. It explains how Hitler failed at being an artist and, then he lived with an stranger from whom he got the views about Jewish people. His first goal was to make Nazi party which then he decided to kill the Jews they are most known as Nazis they were like the kkk but killed Jews instead of black people. He blamed all of the Jewish people for all of Germany's problems and, a lot of people believed him.So the only way to solve the was to kill all the Jewish people and, get rid of all them …show more content…
which is why he created the Holocaust to kill them.
The Holocaust began on January 30,1933 and, it ended on May 8 1945. The Jewish population of Europe in 1933 stood over 9 million. By the end of the Holocaust in 1945 about 6 million Jews were killed as a part of the “Final Solution” the Nazi policy to murder the Jews of Europe. It was the Nazis party with Hitler as the leader of party. The Nazis killed about 5 or 6 million Jews in camps. Hitler set up concentration camps which held prisoners and, Jews they would stay there for a few weeks then killed by gas chambers. They went in towns gathering and taking prisoners to put in camps where some people would survive but they were going to get killed even if they survived the first camp a person went to. They tried to perfect the best way to mass murder the Jews which they came up with was gas vans which kill thousands. They came up with “ The Final Solution” which their goal was to wipe the existence of Jews off the face of earth.
Hitler said the Holocaust, “I do not see why man should not be just as cruel as nature”(Stalcup 127). Man should be able to create their natural disaster. Mother nature doesn’t have any feeling when people are killed from like a hurricane nature is not a living thing so it does not have moral or rules about killing people. Most people have a morals like “ I shall not kill a man”. There is a law for murdering a person you will spend the rest of your life in jail. Hitler wasn’t a serial killer who only murdered a few people who helped to murder 6 million people and, almost kill off the Jewish race. He didn’t see killing Jews for no reason he thought of as if they were killed by a huge tornado or something not he him murdering he thought he was helping a cause to kill the Jewish race for Germany.
The decision Hitler which lead to him accomplishing his goal was when he was sent to jail for trying to promote the Nazis party and killed. People in doing so he came out of jail not giving up or being afraid of the government. He used it to his advantage instead of giving he made a speech to government saying how he would make it better. If he decided to give up and not try anymore after he was sent to jail then the none of the evil things he did wouldn't of happened especially the Holocaust he wouldn't of had power to do anything.
The Nazi party should not become a constable of public opinion, but must dominate it. It must not become a servant of the masses, but their master!” (113). The Nazi’s need to be the center of the public's attention and, nothing less than that. It should not be overthought or taken lightly and, that the Nazi party should be the thing everyone thinks about in Germany. The Nazi party needs to be what the public is thinking about nothing else should be more important than the Nazi party. He uses his this quote in his speech when he is first trying to create the Nazi party and to get people to join him. It shows how much Hitler wanted the how big Nazi party he wanted it to be he wants it to become the staple ment of Germany and, that other things should follow after the Nazi party.
In conclusion the book was pretty good because I learned what made Hitler be such a ruthless person.
The book told all about of his tragedies in his life while giving depth on what he did on his free time like he was a great painter and wanted to live off of his painting but, he couldn't. It talked about what made him hate Jews so much and why he blamed everything on the Jews. I didn't like how it back and forth from his personal life for a few pages then talk about the war between Germany and the U.S. I didn't go into depth about what Hitler liked to paint and the of are he painted.
The trait Hitler demonstrates Ambitious which is having or showing a strong desire and determination to succeed. He wanted to restore Germany as a powerhouse. Hated Weimar Republic's "weaknesses of debate and democracy". He felt a strong nation needed total loyalty to one leader - the Fuhrer. He wanted to abolish the Treaty of Versailles, he wanted 'Lebensraum' - a quest for more living space for Germans, at the expense of much-hated Poland and Russia (USSR). He promised people things to get what he wanted which was power over all of
Europe.
