The genre of Percy Jackson and the lighting thief is fantasy, but to be more specific, you called call it mythic fantasy. Mythic fantasy has more traditional aspects intertwined in with the book, Percy Jackson has a lot of ancient Greek mythology in it, this is why Percy Jackson and the lightning thief is considered a mythic fantasy genre.
The setting of Percy Jackson is not directly centred in one place; however, an important setting in the book is camp half-blood . Camp half-blood is a relaxed but an exciting environment. Naturally Annabeth is smart, witty, a good fighter a quick thinker. She has curly blond hair, storm like eyes that are startling grey. she is tan and athletic looking and looks like your stereo typical California girl except for her grey eyes. Annabeth has never left camp half-blood since she has arrived.Annabeth is a skilled fighter and has lotsof worthy talents but she has never had a chance to use her gifts that is why she is so eager to go on a quest with Percy. I mostly syphethise for Annabeth because she has never left camp before, she has had a hard life so far and she doesn’t really have a real relationship with her family. But she has handled her life well and against the odds she has become talented and skilled demigod. Overall Annabeth’s character is very believable in the way she acts she really acts like a teenager with a chip on her shoulder but she is kind and protective of her loved
