Perfect Utopian Society Research Paper
There are numerous ways to envision a perfect utopian society. To some people, they can imagine a world with no pollution, global warming, or no endangered animals, but for others living in a world where every human is completely equal would be a perfect world. Sadly enough in today’s society, we can only hope to get halfway close to existing in a perfect society. As for me and my preference, a perfect world would be living with no pollution or global warming, every human being would be treated as an equal, and there would be no endangered species of animals and plants. To begin the perfect society, global warming would be non-existent. The removal of global warming solves endless problems humans face today in attempting to cut back and preserve natural resources. With the distraught feeling of global warming dissipated, the only problem left would be pollution to obtain a perfect society. Everyone would be required to use only recyclable products which do not cause pollution and as an end result means no pollution at all; especially for those suffering with breathing problems. Next in the perfect world would be equality for all humans of all races. Equality for everyone means living in harmony amongst people of various cultures and thus, not creating any conflict. Yes, there are problems, but finding the best resolution without …show more content…
This perfect society would have to begin with the humans living in conformity, which would then lead to environmental, animal, and plant perfection. If humans cannot live in a world with different races and denominations, then surely humans can’t expect to survive in a perfect society where there wouldn’t be any chaos. A perfect world would be something we should strive for today, but some people just refuse to live amongst each other and treat everyone with respect, which is why we as a society is experiencing more issues than we have

    This wonderfully crafted novel, Anthem by: Ayn Rand suggested many ideas concerning how effective and “perfect” utopian societies are. In the story our protagonist, equality, lives in a utopian society in the future however the societies technology isn’t very futuristic. All of what we have know has been stripped from the society to the point where they don’t have electricity and they use candles for light and primitive ways of farming instead of more productive ways to mass produce crops. Equality’s society is also practices extreme collectivism. The citizens were taught from a very young age that nothing good can come about unless you work together with your fellow brothers. Engraved in their palace of the world council there is a moral “we are one in all and all in one. There are no men but only the great WE, one, indivisible and forever.” However, in this “we” based world, equality finds himself drifting away from his brothers and after he finds this deserted tunnel he starts escaping to it and writing his own thoughts and performing his own experiments and he comes up with a light bulb, he then shows this light to a council of scholars who basically rejected his idea and he ran away from the society to a forest where he then lives in an abandoned house with another runaway citizen liberty, and they fall in love.…

    Dreaming a perfect society seemed unrealistic. When I was young, I dream my perfect society as a place with my family, toys, food, and happiness, really as a child I don't think deeply about human rights, money, and shelter. In the story “Harrison Bergeron” the definition of a perfect society was robot because in my opinion their goal was trying to make everyone the same, not equal but same, like a robot. When the story start off with “The year was 2081, and everybody was finally equal," sounded good and nice because as a reader I automatically think the equal as human rights equality, but then the following sentence became a little weird. “They weren't only equal before God and the law. They were equal in every which way." It sounded WRONG! Being “equal in every which way” isn’t what I am thinking of as a human. Having to be equal on every side of us is a terrifying idea. Because what I imagined was a world with one color, colorless. As a person who loves art, just by thinking about the idea of having everything the same way was not cool.
