ABSTRACT
In the recent world, day by day, the demand for the low weight, cheap, low profile and efficient antennas is increasing. Micro-strip patch antennas are more popular for meeting these requirements in the several applications. The main problem encountered with these such kind of patch antennas is high value of return loss and bandwidth but these problems can be solved by using some kind of designing approach. In general three kinds of ways are existing viz. ground layer approach, designing at 1.6 height and at 3.2 height. But no one can get the similar merits from all these approaches such as designing at ground layer may cause shift in a resonating frequency with improvement in return loss and bandwidth which is not satisfactory.
