The role of the Perianesthesia nurse manager is to oversee the personnel within the Perianesthesia department, work collaboratively with physicians and/and or other allied health practitioners as well as administration to ensure that departmental goals as well as institutional goals are attained. The manager needs to have a good working knowledge of the care standards for the department and ensure that these standards are being met.

•Quality Improvement- We have a quality academy at our organization and all my staff are bronze quality certified which is the entry level. I have attained my silver certification and worked with others on several gold projects.
