The schemes mainly focus on drive operation on sensorless control. In a different hybrid vehicle application, the PMSM must be able to change torque and speed, including near zero speed with large torque and at a higher speed, thus using field weakening techniques is proposed by Oskar wallmark, (2004) [7].
Christos et.al (2002) proposed a loss minimization method for vector controlled interior PMSM drives has been presented in his paper “Loss Minimization in Vector-Controlled Interior Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Motor Drives”. Based on motor loss model, a condition to obtain the optimum value of I_d(direct axis current) to accompaning losses minimization of interior PMSM drives was derived. The suggested controller uses the signals of rotating speed, I_qand optimal I_d is specified by means of the loss minimization condition. …show more content…
Different microcontrollers like TMS320F2803X are also used which enables the commercial design of smart controllers for three phase motors by reducing system components are increases efficiency. There are lots of papers which presents comparison of different controller in a same control method. Some authors proposed a Hybrid PI Controllers which is ultimately faster and less severe.
Based on literature review it can be said for existing work that there is still hope for improvements.
In this thesis we analyzed the variations in parameters like as maximum overshoot, settling time and Total Harmonic Distortion of current by changing the values of rotor speed, mechanical load torque and tuned circuit of PI Controller. Next chapter is about Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor and its mathematical modeling and the circuit
