I want to succeed. When I came back to school after the competition, my friends asked me many questions about it. But I didn’t say anything, I just sat there talked about other things, ignored those questions. When I was in pre-school, I was an excellent student in class. I was chosen to compete with other excellent students in other schools. At first, I was very excited when I was the only student was chosen to represent to my school. My parents were very proud of me when they heard it. My mom took me to shopping, she bought a beautiful dress which I can wear on that day. My teacher helped me prepare for the competition. But one thing we didn’t expect that the competition required mom or dad has to come with me. My parents had to work. They could not off. Therefore, the teacher said she could take me to the competition and be my guardian. When we came there, the jury said I could not compete still, even I had guardian. They said they need my parents, didn’t guardian. I was so disappointed. At that time, I hated my parents a lot. Because I expected in this competition. I tried all my best to win all other friends, to be chosen. I prepared for it by all my heart. But in the last minute, everything was destroyed, just because I don’t have any parent come together. I cried a lot, but I didn’t let anyone see it, even my parents. At that night, my parents came home, they asked me how it’s going, I just told them why I couldn’t compete, I pretended that I’m ok, everything was fine; that I can take part in next year. They said sorry to me, gave me hug. I felt better, but that experience can not go away. It still stuck in my mind, remind me every time my teacher say they have some competition, until now. After that experience, I did not try to sign up any competition. I stopped trying all my best to become the first. I just came to school, did what I need to do, stopped trying to prove myself to everyone. I lasted until I finish elementary. My parents were

I in the long run floated towards the gathering that had a proclivity towards extracurricular activities. A considerable lot of the children in that group, including myself, were competitors that still had an enthusiasm for information and self-improvement. That one of a kind athletes, volunteering, and scholastics made that group particularly alluring to me in light of the fact that it secured the majority of my hobbies. The other pleasant thing about that community is that we have the ability to become well rounded and develop better communication skills. I assumed the part as the head athletic trainer, as well as academic decathlon and National Honor Society Vice President. Every “clique” was accounted for in our group. Having agreeable blend of all the other communities truly permitted this group to be varied and one of a kind from numerous different groups that the members could have generally been a part of. I was a unique piece of patchwork in the quilt of our…

Three years ago, I came into a world full of dreams, but these dreams can take you down if you don’t pay good attention. I am the first born in my family. Before I came here, I was so afraid to come to a new country, which I didn’t know any thing about. I was somehow confused, and the biggest fear that I had was about adapting to a new culture. After some days of being at home, I was taken to school where I met so many student, teachers, and other nonteaching staff. Although I didn’t know anyone, all the people I met welcomed me, and I really appreciated the welcome. The school counselor called one of the students and told him to show me my classes. Then the boy took me to my new class, and when I entered, all eyes were on…

While I was waiting, I looked around, and from the window, the sky became darker and darker as the cloud covered the last sunlight. I couldn’t breathe. In about twenty minutes, most parents were there. Then the head teacher started to talk about how seriously we did. She told in front of all these people: “she was the one who cheated teachers and brought her friends out of school. We teachers are responsible for your children’s safety in the school. But who is responsible for that once they are out? Jasmine, can you?” I was shocked. I did not think about that the teacher would blame me for all of this. Everyone in the office was staring at me, and my parents as well. I was ashamed, so ashamed that I wanted to hide, and I can’t stop my tears out. The teacher continued and talked to all of students: “I believed you because you are fifth grade. I thought you are old enough to distinguish right or wrong. But now, I am really disappointed at you guys.” We were still in elementary school, and we were so young to comfort ourselves in this situation. Most of the girls in our group began to sob like me.…

In 7th grade, I gave up playing basketball and soccer to undertake Science Olympiad. I joined in order to find something I enjoyed to a greater extent and an activity I was more useful at. I was at my gradmother´s new big house near Nitra, with a big pool outside of the house. It was great! Everything was decorated, and there were all my friends and my family too.
