I suffered a paralyzed hemidiaphragm, blown out lung, dislocated elbows, traumatic brain injuries, shrapnel damage, torn shoulders and many more injuries. I spend two years in the Wounded Warrior Battalion at William Beaumont Medical Center recuperating and receiving numerous surgeries. The damage is so extensive that I was medically retired from the military. I received multiple awards including a Meritorious Service Medal and a Bronze Star for Valor under combat.
So, now that you know a bit about me, you can understand my motivation to be the best. I am currently pursuing three degrees at UTEP. I am recognized in the Dean’s list plus. My GPA is 3.88 and I am averaging 25 semester hours. I have a positive attitude, and am an asset to any organization that I join. School is now my full-time job and I take it seriously. I am also the acting Chair of recruitment for the Political Science Honor Society.
Thank you for the opportunity to join your organization, and I hope to see you
