I was born on January 11th, making me a Capricorn.
Capricorns are often thought of as the fathers and business people of the zodiac. I falsely identify with this.
I do, however, identify as a half visionary, half pessimist. I view my ambitions as dreams because I tend to see everything wrong with the world around me very easily.
My no-nonsense attitude probably comes from my upbringing as a Pagan (agnostic now, but that's beside the point). I was raised to feel every soul was equal in nature. There is something very special about writing that cannot be captured through movies or other media, no matter how well done. The near impossibility of putting an exact image into a reader's mind, paired with the rich attempt to do so anyway, is what makes storytelling so special. Every experience is different, as your mind fills in the blanks that the author left. This vagueness leaves room for the imagination, whereas movies might just give you special effects and makeup and expect you to just eat it up. But to that I say, Steven Spielberg will never be Stephen
