Personal Essay On Archetypes

There are many different types of archetypes, but I am solely going to focus on one, mine. I am of the innocent archetype and I believe it is a very important part to who I am. The traits of an innocent archetype are blissful yet dark if you see it through my eyes. There's fear of abandonment, desire to be loved, and the ability to control emotion when you need to. This has led me into a life that I am living now. When I was young and still to this day, when anyone I really care about tells me that they are in a car or they are about to go on some dangerous path, my mind comes up with dangerous scenarios. It’s almost like an extreme paranoia. Some examples of this paranoia can range from car accidents to just the thought of losing someone. While I think about these things in particular scenarios, I really start to see the innocents surface. Being an innocent archetype has made me realize how my personality works. I don’t want anyone close to me to die. One thing that helps with this is noise. I don't know why, but it does. Music, the sound of the highway, the high school marching band; anything that doesn’t produce an annoying sound makes me feel less lonely. A huge one too. Now I can see why my Archetype is the Innocent. Being an Innocent Archetype has some interesting characteristics, like previously stated. With all of these traits or characteristics I think they suit my personality swellingly. I only think this because events I have experienced in my lifetime. For example, when my stepbrothers step dad took his own life, we went to his viewing I was pretty much numb in a sense. I could control my emotions.
