Personal ethics statement
When I start it attending this class I did not have a clue what personal ethics meant, but now after the nine weeks of me attending this class I have learned a lot of new things like the meaning of personal ethics. Now I know that personal ethics is the way in which you do and look at things, in other words it is what you live by and who you are as person and what kind of person you want or would be like. I consider myself a very responsible person for the age of 19. I think I became responsible a little faster than others my age because I started working since I was only 14 years old. I think that when people get their first job they change a little and start becoming more responsible. I consider myself a very strong person. To me being strong doesn’t mean that I can take everything that happens to me. I have had my share of bad times in life but I never let them make me be unhappy I always try to stay strong. I also consider myself a very helpful person. I always try to find a way to help others, but at the same time when I do that I always make sure that I am doing the right thing. What I mean by that is that, I always make sure that if someone needs my help I know that they really needed and that they are not just taking advantage of my kindness. Of course the people I always try to be with and help is my family. My family is a huge part of my life; they come first, before everything and anything. What I am trying to say about myself is that the “Ethical Lenses” I preferred to use the most are the “Responsibilities” and the “Relationship” lenses. One of my weaknesses is that I can get really distracted with the “Responsibilities” lens and for a while forget about friends and family because I am trying to work too hard. Ethics play a big part of your life every day you have to be really careful with the way you act with other and with yourself. It is not good to be a person that
