It is important for me to devote myself to others. In the future, I vision myself being a wonderful Occupational Therapy Assistant aiding in making a difference in one’s life. A major personal vision of mines is to create activities in therapy that will be of significant value, making a huge impact on one’s recovery from any illness or setback in their life. Helping others has been a passionate of mines that has been influenced from my childhood to adulthood beliefs. In any situation, I always consider all sides and opinions with an open mind to gain a better understanding. Therefore, I want my leadership to empower others to think before they act, treat others kindly and with respect, know their worth, believe in themselves and have faith. Overtime from experience I have learned that good leaders set goals, are honest, delegate wisely, communicate, and have a vision. Embracing diversity in any way I can is crucial to me becoming a great leader. Meanwhile, understanding and having diversity brings in a different perspective on certain topics. As far as ethical boundaries I will consider positive and negative views and the civil rights of everyone involved, I will admit to my mistakes, and enforce fairness. Democratic leaders such as myself are always willing to listen to others and give suggestions without any intention of changing them. In addition, I believe I am more of a democratic leader that treat followers as being capable to make their own
