In my future I would like to go into the creative industries because performing and dancing is my passion, I love doing it and I would love to be able to wake up every day to do something I love rather than waking up to an alarm and going to a job I hate and am not passionate about. The creative industry isn't just dancing and performing It's also people like artist, technicians and people in design and fashion.

In 2000 Misty joined the American Ballet Theater studio company, Then in 2007 she became one of the youngest American Ballet Theater dancers to be promoted to a soloist and on June 30th 2015 Misty Copeland became the first african american female principal dancer in the american ballet theatre's 75 year history.
Misty is my inspiration and I know that being a professional dancer would be a lot of hard work and a lot of long hours but I don't think of dancing as a job, because when I think of a job I think of working long hours and paperwork and things like that, dance to me is my passion not my job but in the future I would like to pursue a career in dance and make it my job.
